Some sign-ins require an authenticator as well as a password. An authenticator may show a short-lived code for a particular account. Follow the methods actually offered; this guide does not mean every account has the same methods enabled.
You need your current authenticator and the account it protects. Do not erase or trade in the old device until you confirm a working replacement.
Expected result: the replacement completes a fresh sign-in. Seeing an account name in the new app does not prove its codes work.
If this continues, Contact Tyler using your existing contact details. Never send a code, setup key, or enrollment QR image.
Use public account recovery. Password reset does not remove an authenticator requirement. Do not assume recovery codes or fallback methods exist unless previously enrolled and offered by the screen.
Privileged-account holders can read the signed-in companion guide. Everything necessary to ask for recovery help remains on the public page.
