Pterodactyl is the game-server panel. You operate only servers assigned to your account; panel access does not create a game server.
Use the account and application access assigned to you. If no access-request option is listed, contact Tyler rather than creating a duplicate account. Open Pterodactyl.
¶ Open and manage an assigned game server
- Open Pterodactyl and complete the offered Trafford or assigned application sign-in.
- Select the server you own or have been invited to manage. Check its name before using its controls.
- Open Console to read startup status. Use Start only when the server is stopped and you are authorized to run it.
- Use the connection address shown for that server in your game client. The panel’s website address is not the game connection address.
- Before Stop or Restart, coordinate with players and save the game using its normal procedure.
Expected result: The assigned server reaches its ready state and the game client can connect using its listed address.
Use Files, Backups, and Users only within the rights granted to you. Preserve a backup before a configuration or world change. Do not use forced termination for routine shutdowns.
- No server cards: ask Tyler about server assignment; a second panel account will not fix it.
- Startup fails: report the relevant console error and server name without publishing tokens or passwords.
- Panel works but the game cannot connect: provide the game version and the displayed connection address privately.
¶ Next step and help
If the steps above do not resolve the problem, Contact Tyler using your existing contact details. Include the application, time, and error wording; omit passwords, tokens, and private recovery links.
